Weekly booking clicks after 6 months
The challenge
The clinic had worked with an SEO agency before, but had no clear picture of what was done or whether it paid off. With no tracking on the site, there was no baseline to measure against.
The website worked like a digital business card. It didn't answer patients' questions, show the team's expertise, or guide visitors toward booking.
What I did
- Measured first. A discovery month set baselines and compared the clinic's profile, reviews, citations, and service coverage with competing practices.
- Fixed local visibility. Optimized the Google Business Profile, closed citation gaps, and improved how the clinic asks for reviews.
- Made the site useful. Reworked treatment pages so patients can explore options, compare, and book, instead of hitting a dead end.
- Built authority. Content around treatment questions, patient concerns, and practitioner credentials.
- Reported on what matters. Monthly tracking of booking clicks, calls, direction requests, rankings, and reviews, with priorities adjusted along the way.
The result
Weekly booking clicks across the Google Business Profile and website grew 185% over six months compared with the baseline. SEO was the clinic's main marketing activity during that period.
Just as important, the clinic went from not knowing what its SEO was doing to having baselines, a roadmap, and reports tied to its goals.
Booking clicks are clicks on booking actions, not confirmed appointments.
Local SEO isn't a checklist of rankings and citations. It's a channel that helps the right people find you, trust you, and book.
